2005, graduated from Gliere National Institute of Music in Kiev, Ukraine
2009, graduated from the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music (Professor Aleksandr Dyachenko)
 
Competitions:
2012, 1st Prize: Riccardo  Zandonai International Voice Competition in Italy.
As a winner of the competition, was invited to take part in The Musica Riva Festival, where she performed the role of Violetta in a concert version of  La Traviata by G.Verdi, conducted by Marco Boemi.
2012, 2nd Prize: Mykola Lysenko International Music Competition in Kiev, Ukraine
 
Professional Engagements:
2004 - 2010: Leading soloist, Kiev National Academic Operetta Theatre.
She debuted as Snow White in the  musical Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by V. Domshynsky.
Notable roles included Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady by F. Loewe and Ninon in The Violet of Montmartre by Imre Kálmán
 
2011 - present: Soloist, The National Opera of Ukraine.
Debuted as Tatiana in P. Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin.
Best roles include Tatiana in  Eugene Onegin and the title role in Iolanta by P.Tchaikovsky, Violetta in La Traviata by G. Verdi and the title role in Natalka-Poltavka by M. Lysenko.
2012: debuted with the Polish National Opera as Tatiana (Teatr Wielki Opera Narodowa) in the production of Mariusz Treliński's  Eugene Onegin, conducted by Keri-Lynn Wilson of the Metropolitan Opera in Warsaw, Poland
2016:  premiered as Tatiana in a new production of Onegin with Macedonia National Opera (Makedonska Opera I Ballet) by Dejan Projkovski, conducted by Sasa Nikolovski - Gjumar in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia

Concert and Recital Activity:
Tamara Kalinkina is a frequent and enthusiastic recitalist and has a broad concert repertoire which includes art songs, romances, folk songs, and chamber music. Ms. Kalinkina is a passionate advocate for new opera works and often participates in the opera productions of modern Ukrainian composers.
